Rapid deployable Magnetic signature range
The cable based Magnetic measurment range, is intended to be used as temporar range in any location, with suitable depth. The measurement equipment is deployed within 15 minutes and ready to measure within 30 minutes.
Five sensor pods including 3-axis Magnetometers and Pressure sensors are attached to a cable array. Two marker buoys indicates the location in a 45/315 degree north angle.
The range width is adjusted for the type of vessels that are intended to be magnetically calibrated. The marker buoys are separated by 40 – 80 m with the 5 sensors at fixed positions adjusted for the measured vessels size.
The signals measured by the cable sensor is transmitted through a cable to the receiving module. The cable include power and a double encrypted WLAN that can can either be connected to what we call a WLAN buoy or directly to a small support vessel as well as direct to land via cable.
All Polyamp sensors and platforms use a unique and patented Polyamp carbon fiber electrode sensor that is highly sensitive. The mechanical robustness, handling and expected life of sensors using carbon fiber technology make it much more versatile for these applications compared to other types of electrodes.
Polyamp can deliver a complete system package with electrodes, very low noise amplifier, data collection, analysis, presentation and documentation with the SWECADE © range software package.
